I often hear people say that vitamin supplements are unecessary, that you will get all the vitamins you need from your food – if you have a proper diet. Well, maybe if were talking about average Joe who´s not working out. And the thing about “average Joe” is that he most of the time does´nt have a proper diet.

But the thing is, when you have an active lifestyle, your body is going to need more vitamins than the average Joe. A deficiency of vitamins will lead to a weak immune system, a slow metabolism, a lack of motivation, worse performance and strenght. And it´s hard getting all those vitamins in from just regular food. Especially when you are on a diet, and you´re not able to eat a whole lot of food. During my diet it´s curcial to take extra vitamins.

I used to think that my food covered all the vitamins and antioxidants I needed, but when I started using vitamin supplements the difference was distinct. My performance got better, I got better strenght, and I just felt like I had a lot more energy. If you are not using minerals/vitamins today, just try it.
